A nation-wide event had happened on 14th of February, which was the flag-giving ceremony in conjunction with the 27th National Day of Brunei Darussalam instilling the spirit of patriotism.

All year 4, 5 and 6 students received their miniature table flags and also all the teachers

All students of SRPSJPAM gathered in the multipurpose hall waiting for the event to start.

Our principal, Cikgu Haji Kadri giving a short speech sharing with the students the importance to respect our national flag and what the colours of the flags represent.

Our principal (Hj Kadri) and deputy principal (Cikgu Raidah) visiting all classrooms of the year 4, 5 and 6 reminding them to take good care of the table flags.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

On last Saturday (12th February 2011) during Co-Curriculum periods, our school had organized two competitions for the members of netball and badminton club.

For netball, the player who could score the most goals will be the winner.

The whole event took about an hour plus and ended at 8.40am, just in time for academic periods to start.

Objektif Pertandingan:

1. Meningkatkan kesedaran warga sekolah terhadap kepentingan beriadah dalam kehidupan rutin seharian.

2. Membina masyarakat sekolah yang seimbang: Sihat rohani dan jasmani.

3. Mencungkil seterusnya mengembangkan potensi murid-murid bagi mencari atlit yang boleh mewakili sekolah pada kejohanan peringkat daerah dan seterusnya.

4. Merealisasikan visi sukan negara iaitu bersukan untuk masyarakat dan bersukan untuk meningkatkan prestasi.

It was one eventful day and on behalf of SRPSJPAM, I’ll like to thank all the authorities, teachers, staffs, students and parents who made the walkathon happened.
