Our colleagues had arranged a visit to BKN (KB) as part of staff development early in April and the day had finally come. The presentation was very informative introducing different types of drugs, the consequences of taking them and the punishments for smugglers and drug traffickers.

After the presentation, we have some light refreshments and later toured around the building to see more exhibits. The whole event took about 2 hours and ended at 4pm.

Setiap kelas hanya 3 orang dipilih untuk menyertai Peraduan Azan & Menghafaz Ayat Lazim, dengan jumlah 54 orang peserta. 

Objektif Peraduan adalah

1. Bagi menyemarakkan amalan ibadah di bulan Ramadhan dengan aktiviti majlis keugamaan di kalangan murid-murid sekolah.
   
2. Menggalakkan dan memberi peluang kepada murid-murid untuk menyertai dan mencungkil bakat masing-masing.
   
3. Menjadikan sebagai budaya bagi meningkatkan kemahiran dan mengasuh bakat yang sedia ada dikalangan murid-murid.
   
4. Mengembangkan Syiar Islam dan menimbulkan minat terhadap laungan azan dan menghafaz Al Quran.

Hadiah akan disempurnakan pada hari Khamis (26hb Ogos 2010) bersama Majlis Khatam Al Quran dan Penyampaian Derma Anak Yatim.

Presenter : Ali Yusri Bin Abdul Ghafor

Mr. Ali Yusri Bin Abdul Ghafor is currently an education officer / counselor from the Counseling department, Department of Schools. He graduated with a Master in Counseling Children and Young People from University of Nottingham, UK.

SR. Pg Setia Jaya Pg Abdul Momin had invited more than 100 primary teachers from Belait District to attend this talk and the feedback was overwhelming. It was an honor having Mr. Ali Yusri giving us the motivational talk as it was truly inspiring and the event was filled with nothing but laughter and sparks of inspiration.

Calendar 2010

Operating Mechanism is a tool used by our school to ensure that all plans scheduled will be carried out accordingly in the given time. It is a new tool introduced by SLP (School Leadership Programme) attended by our school principal, deputy principal and senior teacher.

After 2 months of selecting and training the students for the Inforama competition, it has come to an end on last Saturday, 31st July 2010 in Sekolah Menengah Masin.

Congratulations Zul Hazmi, Aqilah and Shifa for winning the second place in the competition. It was not an easy job as we’re competiting against all other schools in Brunei including both government and private. The school is very proud of you all.
